I have written about this before, but how lovely to receive a hand written note along with a re-purchase within its hand wrapped package.
Now previously the Eye Dew was only available as part of the Eye Revitalising Duo which Aurelia produces, and which contains the Revitalise & Brighten Eye Dew (10mls) and the Illuminate & Smooth Puff Reduction Eye Cream (15mls).
When I first purchased this duo I whizzed through the Eye Dew, not within days or weeks mind you. I finished it just shy of three months, the Illuminate & Smooth lasting a good four months. And whilst I would repurchase because I found the products to be both a joy to use, but also an effective joy to use, soothing and revitalising in equal measure, the Eye Dew in particular was a bit of revelation. It really is a dew like consistency, and for my aged and bagging eyelids I feared that it would be a bit like an excuse for an eye cream, all style over substance. But it really did both hydrate and nourish, calm and moisturise.
However £90 is a considered purchase to me.
This refill is not really a refill in that it is a full size product complete with its metal roller ball, but it is missing its partner. And at £40 I can cope with that.
I do hope that Aurelia consider making the Illuminate & Smooth Puff Reduction Eye Cream a single purchase also.
I have a thing about minatures, not samples but minatures of the full size product, down to the glass jar (thank-you Omorovicza and Oskia) or glass bottle (thank-you Aurelia).

I have reviewed the Miracle Cleanser here, I find it such a pleasure, from its gel like cooling texture to its refreshing scent, it is like cleansing one's face with a moisturising treatment for me.
The Revitalise & Glow Serum again reviewed on this blog has to be one of my most favourite serums because it does not effect any other product applied over the top of it, and really does impart a gleam to my tired skin.
The Cell Repair Night Oil is in my stash of face oils and is having a bit of a back seat currently due to the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Oil, but it is a delicious flower garden scented oil which sinks in easily and calms and fortifies me before sleep.I love the grosgrain ribbon.

I like these so much that I bought two boxes. When one purchases Aurelia's Miracle Cleanser, there is a bamboo muslin included, and although I had several, having purchased the miracle cleanser regularly, these cloths have to be the most gentle but the most effective face cloths I have used.Beautifully presented in a hard flat box. The size and look of a man's handkerchief, these are deceptive in appearance, once wet they become somewhat flimsy and wafty, but they really pack a punch in the removal stakes, and their size and lightness of material makes them extremely easy to get into the nooks and crannies of my face which become deeper and more crevice like with every passing year.Currently £18 for seven.
So I like this so much that I have purchased a second, and there is still life left in the first.
This is a hard to define product, it is an exfoliator, and a mask, but giving it those names suggests textures and useage which to my mind belie the hidden gemness of it. I will settle for calling it a treatment.
Housed in a squeezy tube, this is the texture and shade of a rich golden honey, it is sticky and soft with a gentle rush of eucalyptus, if eucalyptus can ever be described as gentle - I suppose what I mean is that it is not a "clear the sinuses" sort of eucalyptus.
I like to use this applied to clean dry skin, massage in, leave, and then remove. It is extremely gentle as an exfoliant, but could be rendered gentler with the addition of water, for it does emulsify as can be seen below.

So it was Mothering Sunday yesterday in UK, and if I was to choose a product to give to my Mum or receive from my children, this would be it.
This is a beautifully scented, in fact scrub that, it is totally gorgeous, the combination of neroli (or orange blossom flower), lavender, rose and mandarin are melded together in such a way that neither overwhelms the other meaning that the resulting smell to my nose at least is uplifting and soothing, calming and cheering. I received a small 5mls sample in an order from Aurelia and then used some Ndulge points to purchase.

Another day another Aurelia Probiotic Skincare empty. The brand has really satisfied and placated my picky, dehydrated somewhat oily skin.
This is a serum obvs. It is a light slightly tacky serum which applies easily, skips over the skin with a satisfying amount of slip and then sinks in without a whisper of a trace but imparting a gleam and indeed a glow.
And amazingly, my skin looks more glowy post application, and that glowiness lasts and is not shiney, and moisturiser and makeup apply more easily and my skin feels comfortable.
This has a light citrussy scent and really is such a pleasure to use.

This may well be my most favourite cream cleanser ever, a bold statement which could change, but seeing as I have just finished my fourth pot and am contemplating ridding my self of all my stacked up cream cleansers in favour of purchasing this again, I think I am safe.
This is a thickish gel cream texture, it holds it tear drop shape when blobbed out, and has a beautiful gleam to it, to my mind it is more like a moisturiser in texture.
I apply a fingerful dry skin, dry hands and I find that it can be massaged in for a good couple of minutes before it sinks in a little but it can be reactivated with the addition of water to emulsify. I use it as an am cleanser, a makeup remover, an additional cleanser after removing makeup, as a sort of mask in that I will apply before getting in the shower and leave whilst I carry on with my ablutions and then add a bit more water for an additional massage before removing.
It does have a noticeable scent of eucalyptus, rosemary and bergamot but I find it a refreshing light scent and I can use it up and around the eyes with no ill effects.

My eye woes are of the baggy craggy variety - I have awnings for eyelids, you have heard of the pencil test for under the boobs? Well I could support at least a couple of cocktail sticks under my upper eyelids.
When I purchase an eye product I am not expecting it to act on my eye slackening, really I want a product which is moisturising and refreshing and a pleasure to use, and this duo from Aurelia has been a sheer delight to use.
I bought this last year. I have bought several products from Aurelia's Probiotic skincare range, and have been impressed with the texture of the products which are light, but deeply hydrating, and the scents which are again light, but inviting and pleasurable.
This duo has a cream in a jar and a serum in a roller ball.
The Illuminate & Smooth Puff Reduction Eye Cream has a spatula and is quite dense in that it needs a spatula to get at it, but is easily dispersed and does not drag, it feels instantly hydrating, and moisturising, suprisingly so given that the texture on application really is very light.
The Revitalise & Brighten Eye Dew has a serum texture and is cased in a glass bottle with a metal roller. Instantly cooling and hydrating, I found that the serum itself was not quite moisturising enough for my eye area, but its zinginess makes up for that, and if I layered the Eye Cream over the top it was more than enough moisture and comfort.
The roller ball is reuseable in that one can purchase a refill to attach the metal ball which is perfect as I found I whizzed through the Eye Dew in a couple of months because it was so pleasurable to use. The Eye Cream was like a bottomless pit and lasted me a good four months of twice daily use.
The duo is £90 for 10mls of Eye Dew and 15mls of Eye Cream, the refill for the Eye Dew is £40. So not cheap, but so very very pleasing to use.
